Its been a while since I have updated my blog, but I was waiting for my new labs. I had my blood work done on 11/22 and went to see my Endo this morning. My thyroid has finally died. I told my friends and family that I want to have a funeral service for it. I am so glad it died and I can not wait to get regulated. Hopefully this part wont take to long. Below are my current labs and I am starting out on 75mcg's of Synthroid.
TSH - 51.81 - Range 0.40-4.50FT4 - 0.4 - Range 0.8-1.8
By the way no weight gain!!! So happy about that. I can definitely feel the signs of Hypo. I have cold hands and feet, cold all the time, my face and hands are swollen when I wake up in the morning, I have been breaking out really bad on my face, tired and some joint pain in my knees. Overall I am still very happy that I did the treatment as I feel so much better and now wish I did this sooner. Oh well you live and you learn!!! So lets see how the next part of this journey goes with getting regulated.
